Williams takes in unofficial visit

The 2012 recruiting cycle may be just barely two weeks old, but it's crystal clear that one of the more coveted in-state prospects will be Javon Williams. In the last several days, the Chandler HS wideout has already been offered by Arizona State and Arizona, and this afternoon he took an unofficial visit to Tempe. Devils Digest caught up with Williams after his visit to get his impressions.

"I really liked the campus and the facilities," said the 6-4 175 Javon Williams. "I was here once before in the eighth grade with my cousin Dion (Jordan) so it wasn't all new to me. I did get to meet Coach Bryce (Erickson) and the head coach Dennis Erickson and also some of the players. We talked to the Academic Director (Jean Boyd) too.
