Brown ready for the challenge

Some prospects are content being the proverbial big fish in the small pond, and others realize the bigger picture and its effect on recruiting. Former Long Beach St. Anthony's standout, Thomas Brown, certainly fits the later description and which is why he made a football career move that should yield the desirable dividends.

The 6-2 220 pound Thomas Brown decided to transfer to Southern California powerhouse program Serra High School. It's a move that can easily rescue the talented linebacker from the relative recruiting anonymity he has been to maximum exposure of in a CIF champion team.
