Coveted JC cornerback visits ASU

Travell Dixon traveled three time zones away to play in a junior college, but judging by the recruiting attention this sophomore is receiving the long journey was worth his while. The Eastern Arizona College cornerback has quickly become a coveted commodity in the 2012 class, and he unofficially visited one his suitors, Arizona State, this past weekend to familiarize himself with the Sun Devils.

The 6-2 203 pound Travell Dixon prepped at Norlin High School in Miami, Fla. He wasn't able to qualify academically to play at the next level, contemplated attending a prep school but ended up at Thatcher, Ariz. where had a stellar freshman year.
