Perkins talks ASU visit

Highland CC (Kan.) standout Demarkus Perkins is slated to graduate in one year which makes the versatile defensive back with three years of eligibility left a hot commodity for some teams such as ASU looking to fill a crucial void for the 2011 campaign. Perkins visited Tempe this past weekend and talked to Devils Digest about his impressions of the Sun Devil program.

"I liked everything I saw," said the 6-1 200 pound Demarkus Perkins. "I loved talking to all the coaches there. I really enjoyed talking to the head man himself, Dennis Erickson, and about his history and the history of Arizona State and the players they had like Terrell Suggs, Pat Tillman and Jake Plummer.
