Thompson impressed with ASU visit

Over the weekend Al Thompson was one of several Sun Devils to visit Tempe for the first time ever. The Brentwood Academy (Tenn.) wide receiver was already enamored with ASU prior to his trip and when discussing his trip with Devils Digest his sentiments haven't changed to say the least.

"It was a great visit, we saw a lot, and the team won," said the 6-2 175-pound Al Thompson. "It was a little hot but I can get used to it. I loved the game atmosphere. We were sitting right by the student section so that was great. It was fun hanging out with a lot of the recruits. I enjoyed talking to coach Erickson. He was very cool and a very respectful man.
