Martinez impressed with ASU following visit

Relieved is how Grant Martinez felt when the hometown Sun Devils offered him a scholarship last Friday. Intrigued is how the Scottsdale Notre Dame Prep tight end felt after unofficially visiting ASU with his parents on Wednesday afternoon.

"The visit went very well," Martinez said. "I spent a lot of time with Coach Graham, Coach Norvell and Coach Long. I also met with the Strength and Conditioning Coach, the academic advisor and just had a great time. It was good to see how much they care about you as a student, and not just a football player.
