Could some Bear & Buff commits end up at WSU?

THE SHOE IS on the other foot this winter for Washington State. Two Pac-12 schools have fired their coaches in the last 10 days, and some of the players who had committed to those schools are now looking at the Cougars.

But whether commits from those schools will be much of a factor for the Cougs when it comes to Signing Day remains to be seen. At Cal, where Jeff Tedford was let go, cornerback and Cal commit Darius Allensworth (5-11, 180) out of Heritage High in Menifee, Calif. has scheduled an official visit to Washington State for Jan. 18.
