Phoenix LB Makes Commitment

Phoenix (Ariz.) Brophy Prep LB Andrew Curtis headed to the East Coast

FoxSportsNext has confirmed that Phoenix (Az.) Brophy LB Andrew Curtis has ended his recruitment.

Curtis says, "I officially committed to Florida Atlantic today."

Curtis chose FAU over offers from Akron, Northern Illinois and South Dakota State.

He continues, "The defensive coordinator met with me yesterday for an hour and a half and I loved everything he had to say and the direction they are taking the program. Everyone on the coaching staff is great, the campus is really nice and Robert (Relf) and I wanted to play in college together and they gave us the best opportunity to do so."

Curtis (6-2 215) made 105 tackles and 2 INTs this year.
