It was on his official visit that Redlands (Calif.) East Valley linebacker Andre Ferguson (6-3, 210)…
Post-Visit Report: Andre Ferguson
Andre Ferguson: "It was good. I liked it a lot. I liked hanging out with the players. I really liked the whole atmosphere."
DD: Who was your host player?
AF: "Rudy Burgess. Because I'm a linebacker, I got to meet all the other linebackers and went to their meeting."
DD: You go to the same school as ASU's tight end Lance Evbuomwan. Are you two close and has he told you a lot about Arizona State?
AF: "Yeah, we're pretty tight. He told me what to expect on the visit, and that helped me enjoy it."
DD: Tell us about your skills? What are your strong points and what is some stuff you need to work on?
AF: "I have good speed – all the college coaches told me I'm fast. Things I can work on are making better reads, getting off blocks quicker."
DD: How is your team doing this year, and what do your stats look like?
AF: "We're 1-3 right now, it's been a rough start for us. I have 23 tackles, two sacks and one fumble recovery."
DD: ASU had a rough game of their own against Oregon. Is that something that made a difference on your trip?
AF: "That didn't make a difference. Nothing has changed my opinion about Arizona State."
DD: Did you commit on the trip?
AF: "No I didn't commit. I still want to visit other colleges and consider my options."
DD: What other visits do you plan to go on?
AF: "On October 7th I'm gonna go to Colorado State. It's not a definite; we're still trying to work some things out. I'm gonna visit USC unofficially when they play ASU on the 14th. We're gonna try to visit Washington too sometime."
DD: When do you expect to make a decision?
AF: "I just want to take all my visits and only after that I'll start narrowing things down and making a decision."
