Successful Season Debut for Wooten

This season certainly didn't start the way Morris Wooten had planned, as he was sidelined with a suspension in the Sun Devils' first three contests. Questions may have lingered how the linebacker would perform in his first game back, let alone against a formidable team as Georgia. His team-leading eight tackles proved that Wooten is once again ready to be a significant part of the ASU defense.

In 2007 Wooten, a local transfer from Glendale Community College, started in 11 games and made eight starts. He ended the season with 47 total tackles and was one of the main contributors on an emerging Sun Devil defense that year.
