DT Lawrence Guy Had 6 Stops Versus Oregon St.

Arizona State fell to Oregon State on Saturday night, which marked the sixth-straight loss for the Sun Devils. Several ASU newcomers were featured in the 27-25 loss to the Beavers.

Starting cornerback Terell Carr had arguably his best game of the season. Carr finished fourth in tackles with six stops, including two for a loss. Freshman cornerback Josh Jordan added a solo stop for the secondary.

Matching Carr's six tackles, were defensive tackle Lawrence Guy and linebacker Shelly Lyons. Defensive end Jamaar Jarrett collected two tackles against the Beavers. Brandon Magee, a freshman linebacker, notched an assisted tackle as well.

Trevor Hankins posted a 37-yard average on four punts. His longest punt of the evening went for 43 yards while none of his punts were placed inside the Beavers' 20-yard line.

Other game participants included: Colin Parker, Pierre Singfield, T.J. Simpson, Stanley Malamala, Jarrell Holman, Oliver Aaron, Brent Good, Zach Schlink, and Thomas Ohmart.
