Post-Game Interview - Keegan Herring

SEATTLE - The ASU running back rushed for a season high 144 yards, and was instrumental in ASU's 39-19 win at Washington, which snapped a six-game skid for the maroon and gold. The senior talked to reporters following the game.

On the Victory

"A lot of frustration went away. Everybody has wanted a victory for so long and we finally got one and the frustration all went away. Everybody in the locker room is thinking happy now."

On Winning on the Road

"Most definitely it feels good to get it on the road. Coach Erickson always tells us when we go on the road that it is a business trip; you have to be locked in, in whatever you do."

On the Morale of the Team

"It is the best we have felt all season, after six losses. We just have to try and keep it going. Come down here and get a victory, no matter what team it is, any team can surprise you. It has been so long, it's a great feeling."

On if this was his healthiest he has been

"I'd say the healthiest I've been was my freshman year. This has been the healthiest I've been this year, me and Shaun DeWitty was running pretty hard. Our offensive line was having a great game."

On the offensive line

"Offensive line was on fire. They were talking to us running backs and they kept rolling. Schlink was awesome out there. He did an awesome job out there, he really stepped up."

On what was the main offensive adjustment

"More communication, they told us to communicate more. Try and have the offensive line tell us what they see and we tell them what we see. That was the most adjustment, more communication." Recommended Stories
