There were many football related aspects that impressed Bruce Irvin during his visit to Tempe. Yet ultimately the five-star JC defensive end's commitment to the Sun Devils simply came down to the personal relationships he was able to establish during this past weekend. Devils Digest's caught up with ASU's newest 2010 class commitment following his official visit.

The 6-4 230 Bruce Irvin had been committed to Tennessee since May, but softened his verbal to take a visit to West Virginia which was immediately followed by a trip to Arizona State. The Sun Devils have been recruiting Irvin since the spring but have offered him a scholarship just two weeks ago.
