He may have been less familiar with other coaches on the Sun Devil staff, but all those individuals collectively created a great sense of comfort with the San Jacinto (Calif.) quarterback. He was once committed to UTEP, but with all that ASU had to offer he was swayed to sign with the maroon and gold.
